picks
Turn a folder of proof photos into a page your client can heart. They send back one line of filenames. You paste it into Lightroom. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
1. Choose your proofs
No photos chosen yet.
2. Details
3. Build the page
Put the downloaded index.html in the same folder as your JPEGs.
Then upload that whole folder somewhere and send your client the link. A free static host (Netlify Drop, Cloudflare Pages, an S3 bucket) takes about a minute. Use an unguessable folder name: anyone with the link can see the photos.
Or zip the folder and email it. That works too, but only on a computer.
When the picks come back
Your client sends one line of filenames. In Lightroom Classic: Library → Find (Cmd/Ctrl+F), set the filter to Filename + Contains, and paste the whole line in one go. Lightroom treats spaces and commas as "any of these". Select all, make a collection, edit.
Capture One works the same way with the same line.
